The earliest science-fiction entry—but not set in the future (see Futurama and Babylon 5). The show’s concept is that the hero travels through time and embodies someone in that time period—so all the other characters see him as the person they know. This episode is set in the 1950s on a luxury vessel, and Vassar, as it so often is, is a character point for wealthy and well-bred.
