A true highlight of the whole collection. Hammer is a Jewish parody of a Shaft-like tough detective supporting his community. This scene, where he and his girlfriend begin to get intimate, is brilliantly funny, and the Vassar joke just makes it all the better. Vassar as an aspirational place for Jews.
