Gilligan’s Island

Film & TelevisionSitcom
  • Season 3, Episode 9 “Ring Around Gilligan” [Nov. 7, 1966]
  • Season 3, Episode 26 “Slave Girl” [March 20, 1967]

What’s a major ’60s sitcom without a Vassar reference? These two scenes of course involve the wealthy, stuffy Howells. The jokes don’t really make a lot of sense.

Thanks to Noriko Ellen Okamoto for the tip.
